Four Years of Blessings

Today marks four years since McKee Road Baptist Church called me to be their pastor. I am sure it was not what anyone was expecting, least of all me, but it has been a growing experience. There have been many blessings along the way. I believe it is best to mark the passing of time by blessings rather than burdens.
Counting the blessings I must say I am thankful for the people who have found Christ as their Saviour including two of my children. It is a blessing to have a church family that loves God, each other, and their pastor. I am excited to think of many more years if the Lord tarries His coming. Praise God for four years!

Congratulations on four years at McKee Road Baptist Church. Thank you for your friendship to our family and our ministry. I pray that God gives you many fruitful years there serving Him as you serve the people of Bakersfield. Keep preaching the Word; keep loving God’s people; and keep reaching people with the Gospel! Only eternity will tell the impact MRBC is having there in Bakersfield.
