1. We believe the Bible is the infallible, inerrant Word of God. We believe in the verbal plenary inspiration by the Holy Spirit through human authors. We believe that God’s Word has been preserved for the English-speaking people in its entirety in the King James Version of the Bible. We believe in literal interpretation of the Bible to direct in all matters of faith and practice. (Ps. 12:6-7, II Tim. 3:15-17, I Pet. 1:23-25, II Pet. 2:19-21)
2. We believe in the existence and supremacy of the Creator God who is self-existent, immutable, infinite, and eternal in attribute; omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent in His being; and is triune in person (Father, Son, Holy Ghost) but one in essence. (Deut. 6:4, I Tim.1:17, James 1:17, I John 4:4)
3. We believe in the eternal, pre-existent, deity of Christ Who became incarnate while holding His divine attributes. We believe He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died a gruesome death, was buried, and on the third day was bodily resurrected from the dead. We believe He ascended and is now seated on the right hand of God making intercession for the saints as priest and will one day come again to rapture the church and seven years later to establish His kingdom and rule on earth for 1,000 years. (Ps. 2:7-9, Isa. 7:14, 9:6, 43:11, Micah 5:2, Matt. 1:25, Like 1:26-35, John 1:1, 3, 14, 18, 29, Rom. 3:19-25, 5:6-15, Phil. 2:5-11, I Th. 4:13-18, I Tim. 2:5, 3:16, Titus 2:10-15, Heb. 7:26, 9:24-28, I Pet. 1:19, 2:2, I John 1:3, Rev. 20:1-6)
4. We believe in the person of the Holy Spirit which possesses all aspects of deity and convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment; He indwells the believer from the point of regeneration sealing his salvation and bringing him spiritual gifts. We believe the sign (or miracle) gifts have ceased but other gifts remain for the edification of the church. (Gen. 1:2, John 3:5-6, 14:26, Acts 1:5, 11:15, I Cor. 3:16, 6;:19-20, 12:13)
5. We believe in the depraved, sinful state of man. We believe that man was created in the image of God but all men fell through the original sin of Adam. We believe that unregenerate man has a sin nature that will result in eternal separation from God in a literal Hell. We believe in the free will of man. (Gen 5:1-5, Matt. 7:13-14, 25:46, John 5:29, Rom. 3:10-23, 5:6-12, Rev. 20:11-16)
6. We believe in the efficacious blood atonement for man’s sin through the substitutionary, propitiatory death of Jesus Christ on the cross. We believe there is no other means of peace with God and an eternal home with Him in Heaven than through faith in the finished work of Jesus payment for sin and by God’s grace Who extends it to all that will believe. We believe in the eternal security of the believer. (Acts 16:31, Rom. 6:23, 10:9-13, II Cor. 5:21, Eph. 2:8,9, I Tim. 2:4-6, Titus 3:5, Heb. 9:22, 10:10-12, I John 2:2)
7. We believe that the local church is an assembly of baptized believers in Christ organized with pastors and deacons with the purpose of observing fellowship, edification, ordinances (baptism and communion), and evangelism of the lost. We believe that the church was founded on Christ himself with a pastor as overseer and shepherd. We believe that the local church is an autonomous body in government and resources. (Matt. 16:16-18, Acts 1:15, Acts 2:41-43, Acts 11:15, Acts 20:28, I Cor. 15:53-58, Eph. 1:12-14, 5:25-30, I Th. 4:13-18, I Tim. 3:4-15)
8. We believe in the pre-tribulation rapture of the church saints, followed by a seven-year tribulation. We believe in the pre-millennial return of Christ to establish His kingdom for 1,000 years on earth at the end of which the Great White Throne judgment he will judge all mankind. (I Cor. 15:53-58, I Th. 4:13-18, 5:1-9, Rev. 19:22)
